Payments & Refunds
Heartland Community College provides students with access to their student bills online in home.heartland.edu and also sends bills if needed via email or mail.
Payment Options
- Pay in person at the Normal, Pontiac or Lincoln campus using cash (Normal campus only), check, money order or credit/debit card. No fees are charged for paying with a credit/debit card in person.
- Pay by mail (check only) to:

Note: Post-dated checks will not be accepted. Returned checks will be assessed a $25 service fee. - Pay over the phone by calling 309-268-8140 with a credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express). No fees are charged for paying with a credit/debit card over the phone.
- Pay online by making a full payment at home.heartland.edu or by setting up an automatic payment plan. Processing fees will apply to online payments and a 2.85% transaction fee will apply to credit or debit card payments.*
*If a business (considered a third party by Heartland Community College) pays their invoice for sponsored students by credit card and the total invoice amount is $5000 or greater, then Heartland Community College shall pass the 2.25% credit card fee charged to the institution (Heartland Community College) on to the third party.
Please note: Tuition payment arrangements must be made by the tuition due date or when you register. You can enroll in the automatic payment plan or pay all your costs at once.
